M83 - “Let Men Burn Stars/Slight Night Shiver” | Still in my full immersion of M83, in prep for the concert. I forgotten how much why i fell in luv with the band; mainly it was due hearing Before the Dawn Heals Us. Prob one of my fav albums of the aughts, this alnum was an epic night journey in itself. Like the coverart, the whole album exist in a magical moment where you and the night are the only two creatures. You see everything in the shade of lights and darkness and wonder through whatever it is in ur mind, the kind of reflection u only get when u are alone, facing a grandiose reality. Anyways, this is why i always “u must let ur self bathe in the music.” Its about surrendering to it and let it wash over u.
